Striker is designed to operate only with the cash you choose to leave available. Your existing holdings and reserves are never touched.

  • → Your uninvested USD cash on Coinbase — the dollar balance sitting idle in your account, ready to trade.
  • → Your buying power on Alpaca — cash available to place new stock orders, not your total portfolio value.
  • → Positions it opens itself — the bot only manages trades it entered. Every entry and exit is logged in your dashboard.
✕ What Striker never touches
  • → USDC, USDT, or stablecoin reserves — any stablecoin balance you hold on Coinbase is treated as off-limits and never deployed.
  • → Pre-existing stock positions on Alpaca — holdings you owned before connecting are not managed, not sold, and not counted toward Striker's operating capital.
  • → Crypto you already hold on Coinbase — coins outside the bot's configured watchlist are ignored entirely.

API Key Permissions

Striker only requires trading permissions from your API keys — never withdrawal access. Your funds cannot be moved out of your exchange accounts. You can revoke access at any time from your exchange's API settings page, and Striker will immediately stop trading.
